NOTE that all projects discussed during this meeting will be scheduled again at future Planning & Zoning Committee meetings. A JPNA neighborhood vote will NOT be taken on these projects until neighbors have additional opportunity to review and discuss the projects.  The 173-177 Maverick St. project will be reviewed at the Gove Street Citizens Association meeting scheduled for Monday, January 22nd at 6:30pm, Nodal Island Community Room, Logan Rental Car Center.  The JPNA encourages those interested in 173-177 Maverick St to consider attending the Gove Street Citizens Association meeting.

Projects discussed:

  1. 30 Orleans Street, current vacant lot proposed as a 4 unit building, first review.
  2. 238 Webster Street, project to demolish and reconstruct existing building, first review.
  3. 228 Webster Street project to reconstruct existing 3 unit building to a 5 unit building, first review.
  4. 173-177 Maverick Street, redevelopment of existing buildings to a single building, first review.
  5. Narrow Gauge parcels, second informational review.

December 10th (Sunday) 11AM-4PM, East Boston Open Market: Holiday Market  At The Eddy, 10 New Street, East Boston. Support local makers and find unique holiday gifts. EBOM Holiday Market will also feature kids crafts, book sale, and gift wrapping to benefit our local schools, pet/ family holiday photo studio, live entertainment, and hot beverages! December 15th (Friday) from 7PM-Midnight: the 14th Annual Eastie’s Elves! Please join the Eastie’s Elves presented by the Madaro Family Community Fund at the Hyatt Regency Boston Harbor, 101 Harborside Drive.  Admission is one unwrapped toy.  Dinner, entertainment, a Silent Auction and cash bar will make for a festive evening while donating to a wonderful cause!
