Below please find the agenda for the Jeffries Point Neighborhood Association scheduled monthly meeting for September 10th, 2019.  The meeting will be held at the Jeffries Yacht Club located at 565 Sumner Street in East Boston.

  • Community Updates – Lina Tramelli, Mayor’s Office of Neighborhood Services.
  • Boston City Council At-Large Candidates – Opportunity for candidates to speak to the neighborhood and for residents to ask questions.

AGENDA (subject to change)

  • 2-12 Jeffries Street – Demolish existing building and construct a 55′ tall, 20-unit luxury apartment building with 20 assigned parking spaces, 4 visitor spaces, a truck/loading space and  a roof deck.
  • 130 Everett Street  – Change occupancy to a six (6) unit residential dwelling and erect addition.
  • 132 Marginal Street – Maintain and rehabilitate existing 2 family structure; erect 6 unit dwelling (reduced from 9 units / demo).

Monday, August 12, 2019, 7:00 – 8:30 pm East Boston Neighborhood Health Center  250 Sumner Street (NOTE LOCATION)

Below please find the agenda for the Jeffries Point Neighborhood Association scheduled monthly meeting for August 12th, 2019.  The meeting will be held at the East Boston Neighborhood Health Center Training Facility, at 250 Sumner St and starts promptly at 7 pm. We will have a hard stop to the meeting at 8:30pm in order to be sure the EBNHC security guard is able to leave on time.

  • Community Preservation Act (CPA) – Update on the application process for Community Preservation Act funding. –  Christine Poff
  • PLAN: East Boston – An update on the planning process which will lead to re-zoning of East Boston. – Kristina Ricco & Jason Ruggiero
  • 464 Sumner Street – VOTE – Renovation and rear addition with proposal to change from a three to a four family. Represented by Matt Eckel of Drago + Toscano, LLP
    VOTE: 14 in favor, 2 opposed

East Boston Neighborhood Health Center: Training Building 250 Sumner Street

AGENDA (subject to change):

  • 464 Sumner Street– Proposal to change the occupancy from a three-family to a four-family. Also, to renovate the building, including a rear and fourth story addition.
     
  • 132 Marginal Street – Demolish the existing house, and erect a 4-story, 9 unit residential dwelling with 9 off street parking spaces. Attorney Richard Lynds.
