The Monday, Feb. 16, 2015, Meeting Agenda has been posted. Please note the special format of tonight’s meeting! In light of the upcoming special election for East Boston State Representative, the JPNA will be offering our members two opportunities to interact with the candidates.

At 6:30 PM, the candidates will be present and available for informal discussions. At 7:00, we begin the meeting (see Agenda), and then at 8:00 we will host a structured forum with the candidates.

The JPNA is holding this event to further our mission to expand civic engagement with the political process; that said, the JPNA does not support or endorse any candidate for office. Please bring your questions for the candidates! This is a good time to explore their positions on matters that impact you, our neighborhood, and the Commonwealth!

Taste of Eastie : 1/29/2015

The JPNA is happy to announce that East Boston Main Streets’ 19th Annual “Taste of Eastie” will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at the Hilton Boston Logan Airport. Tickets are $35/pp and can be purchased here. This is a great event that is very popular in the neighborhood! Skip lunch, and see you there.

No P+Z Meeting 1/21/2015

The Loftel Project (conversion of empty warehouse into hotel, 175 Orleans @ Orleans/Porter) confirmed they will not be appearing at the 1/21/15 JPNA Planning & Zoning meeting.

The developers are updating their designs based on previous community input and wish to have these complete before coming to the JPNA. We will re-schedule with the Loftel project for Wednesday, February 18th.

Because this was the only agenda item, the meeting is cancelled. We apologize to everyone for the late notice, and thank everyone for their participation in this process.
